Located in Research Triangle Park, N.C., The National Humanities Center is one of the leading institutes for advanced study in all fields of the humanities in the United States. Founded in 1978, the institute focuses on liberal arts, language and literature, ethical and moral reflection, artistic and cultural traditions. The National Humanities Center provides a private study, central commons as well as conference rooms and lounges. Its education programs led by alumni fellows and other leading scholars provide teaching materials and instructional resources for American history and literature teachers.
