History
The FARM was established in 2017 as a Place of Peace and Healing for disabled veterans and a recreation park for combat veterans trying to fit back into life as civilians. As the number of people using recreation area increased we added facilities. A bathroom shower building constructed, an improved rifle & pistol safety barricades/back stops installed, a shoot room, a sound break wall, the banks of the ponds were cleared to allow fishing. As participation grew at the facility we needed a way to supplement the continued expansion and aid to the Vets. I decided to come out of retirement and start a gun smith hobby business in 2020 which continues to grow. The park was also opened to all active and retired LEOs, Fire and Rescue Personnel. We hope to continue the growth and expand the assistance to veterans in pursuit of the benefits they earned from the VA.
