I chose to become a Dietitian because maintaining a healthy diet and healthy weight is the foundation of health. There are so many diseases caused by improper eating, so this is a very important aspect of care. My approach to patient care is to provide the tools to our patients so they can be successful in their nutritional goals. It is their health, and I try to motivate them to make the best decisions possible. My areas of special interest include weight management and diabetes. Outside of work, I enjoy yard work, exercising, outdoor activities (fishing) and am a sports fan.
