Turrentine Middle School, in cooperation with parents and the community, provides a learning environment that encourages the intellectual, physical, emotional and social development of each student. The middle school serves students in grades six through eight. Its curriculum includes social studies, computer applications, math, language arts, physical education and general science. Located in Burlington, N.C., Turrentine Middle School also provides instructional classes in band, choir and drama. It also offers counseling services. The school additionally conducts award assemblies. A part of the Alamance-Burlington School System, Turrentine Middle School has a parent-teacher organization that works for the overall development of the school.
