Edgecombe County Department of Social Services is a community-based agency that provides social services. The agency develops and manages activity centers for youths at risk by providing several referral and comprehensive health care services, including gang and drug prevention, transportation, parent education, and computer and job training. Edgecombe County Department of Social Services also establishes and maintains local community service centers that provide multicultural services in a culturally sensitive manner and promote general welfare of the community.
