History

Anna Smith opened the first Ego Hour on Stratford Road in 1973 with a desire to provide precise haircuts and coloring. Then in 1980 the Robinhood Road salon opened. Finally, in 1990, Ego Hour opened an our salon on Jonestown Road. Whether using the latest trends or perfecting a classic style, Ego Hour's hair designers excel in precision cutting and personalized coloring. Education is a priority here, and our hair designers have studied at the Vidal Sassoon Academies in London and Santa Monica, with Toni & Guy, and at the Aveda Institute.
