Union County Public Works is one of the departments of the Union County of North Carolina. Based in Monroe, N.C., the department provides water, wastewater and solid waste management solutions to the residents of the county. It is also responsible for the water conservation, maintenance of water quality and residential developments in the area. The public works department conducts several projects and programs for the development of the county. Union County Public Works collaborates with the Environmental Health, Inspections, Planning and Tax Administration departments.
