History
As we began searching for a name we realized our family has several ties to the history of cotton. We're from the South and Midwest with rural roots, our parents and their parents grew up cultivating cotton, and our family currently has farms that are leased to cotton and soybean farmers. Cotton House represents a sense of community, history, and southern hospitality. The Pasmore House, the location of our Taphouse, is a National Historic Site built in 1900. It was used as a housing facility for some of the first students at the original Cary High School, now the Cary Arts Center. By definition, a house is a gathering place where everyone feels welcome to share experiences. Cotton House Craft Brewers opens our home to you-- to share craft beer made with hops from our own local hops farm.
