The Conservators’ Center is home to almost 100 exotic animals, including the largest collection of lions in the southeast. Located in rural Caswell County, NC, this nonprofit organization has a three-part mission: education, conservation, and rescue. Although most visitors arrive excited to meet the showy lions, tigers, leopards, and wolves, many find themselves equally drawn to the lesser-known exotics, such as servals, caracals, lemurs, New Guinea singing dogs, and binturongs. Unlike a zoo, where visitors don't always see animals at close range, visitors to the Center are guaranteed a uniquely up-close view. Many of the furry residents enjoy greeting visitors with just a fence and a five-foot safety zone separating them. When you take a guided tour of the Conservators' Center you are helping to support the animals. It's an adventure you'll never forget. Learn more at www.conservatorscenter.org.
