The Division of Community Corrections, also known as DCC, offers a range of correction services to offenders throughout North Carolina. The division provides protection, safety, supervision and treatment services. It is responsible for the supervision of adult offenders on probation, parole and postrelease parole supervision. The Division of Community Corrections offers emergency management and community policing services. The division provides various community service work programs. It operates through various judicial divisions that have more than 40 judicial districts. The division is a part of the North Carolina Department of Correction. The Division of Community Corrections manages a staff of community service coordinators and support personnel.
