The Operations Department is a part of the Town of Carolina Beach, N.C. It provides a range of community services to the residents. The department operates and maintains water distribution and waste water collection, environmental, waste water and fleet maintenance divisions. The Operations Department also maintains sewage collection system and more than 10 lift stations. Its waste water treatment division operates, maintains and manages the Town of Carolina Beach Waste Water Treatment Plant, which has a treatment capacity of more than 3 million gallons per day. The department s environmental division maintains the town-owned buildings, public restroom facilities and street signs. Its fleet maintenance division provides repair and maintenance services for the town-owned equipment and motor vehicles. The Operations Department is located in Carolina Beach, N.C.
