The Community Services Department is a part of the City of Del Mar, which also operates finance, fire, human resources, information systems, public works and planning departments. The Community Services Department offers a range of lifeguard and parking enforcement services. It conducts park ranger operations and provides a variety of beach maintenance solutions. The department offers permitting services for various facilities, including parks, beach areas and the Powerhouse Community Center.
