In 2004, a back injury I sustained while playing volleyball led me to physical therapy (PT). I actually enjoyed my time with the therapist - and PT worked in getting me healthy after that injury - so I decided to pursue it as a career. Since I had always loved science and helping others, it felt like a natural choice. \n When working with my patients, I consider all aspects of fitness and wellness. I like to connect with them in a way that makes their time during therapy enjoyable - as mine was. I also work to tailor goals to each individual based on where they are at that moment. \n I have a few specialties: male pelvic health, oncology, pelvic pain, prolapse, and pre- and postpartum care. I was honored to be a nominee for a Novant Health Clinical Achievement Award in 2022. \n In my free time, I enjoy exercising - especially going for walks. I'm an avid reader and enjoy getting lost in other worlds. My favorite vacation spot is the beach; I love being there with my family.
