History
The Carolina Beer Temple Story! While traveling through Belgium, seeking out some of the finest beers made in the world, owners of Carolina Beer Temple - Rob and Megan Jacik - learned that 96% of all beer consumed in Belgium is brewed in Belgium. Rob and Megan were impressed with Belgium's amazing beer culture and devotion to locally brewed beer. Back home, with 80+ breweries currently in operation in North Carolina (as of January 2014), Rob and Megan thought it would be fantastic if North Carolina embraced its beer industry in much the same way as Belgium. To contribute to this spirit of consuming fresh, quality local beers, Carolina Beer Temple was born - a retail craft beer store that specializes in beers made in North Carolina. While a consumption rate of 96% is a lofty goal, Carolina Beer Temple intends to be part of the tidal wave of change already occurring, where more and more residents of North Carolina seek out and drink beers made in the Carolinas.
