Camp Broadstone is Appalachian State University's year-round outdoor adventure and retreat center with a specialized summer camp. Its more than 55-acres of meadows is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers various facilities, including a more than 4,600-square-foot multipurpose lodge that serves the camp as a dining hall and meeting space for indoor workshops and evening activities. The lodge features a large natural stone fireplace. Camp Broadstone serves well-balanced meals to families and has a fully equipped kitchen located in the main lodge. It offers bunk-style cabins for overnight groups. The cabins include bunk beds, indoor bathroom facilities with individual hot showers and are fully insulated and electrically heated to maintain comfort during winter months. The camp can accommodate more than 80 guests. Camp Broadstone is located in Boone, N.C.
