History

In 1968 Dr. Tony Martin, born in British Guyana, immigrated to the United Sates, bringing with him secret recipes handed down to him through generations of his family. With a PhD in Nutrition, he moved to Charlotte, NC in 1986 and opened a small cafe with a menu straight from the heart of the Caribbean Named Best Caribbean Resturant in Charlotte 2007,08,09,10,11,12 Named Top 100 Restaurant in Charlotte and Best Caribbean Restaurant by LocalEats Named Best Caribbean Restaurant in Charlotte - Creative Loafing 2011, 2012

This place is delicious! The few times I've been it hasn't been busy. The food is always cooked to order. They have a stuffed flounder that takes 20 mins to cook, but worth the wait!
