I grew up watching my father care for children and decided at age 12 to follow in his footsteps and become a pediatrician. \n Though we both take pride in treating children, he had a one-man practice for 40 years. That is something you rarely see these days. In contrast, my patients can rely not only on my expertise but also on the abundant resources of a major not-for-profit healthcare system. I have great concern and affection for children, and I am grateful that they are so resilient in times of sickness. \n I have cared for patients at Novant Health for more than 20 years and was honored as one the top 2% of doctors two years in a row.
