Yeshiva Shaar Ephrayim, located in Monsey, NY, is a renowned institution dedicated to replacing the Gedolim and Bnei Torah lost during the Holocaust. With a strong emphasis on Yedias Hatorah, the Yeshiva aims to produce outstanding Bnei Torah who will serve the community, focusing on both in-depth learning of Gemorah B iyun Rav al Derech Bekiyus and the study of Shilchan Aruch. Over the years, the Yeshiva has earned an international reputation for excellence, particularly in Chelek Ha bekiyus and Chelek Ha iyin, preparing Talmidim for positions as Rabbonim, Dayunim, and Mechanchim.
Established in 1976 by Rabbi Ezriel Tauber, Yeshiva Shaar Ephrayim initially began as Kolel Mechon L Hoyroa, providing a special Makom Torah for exceptional Yingeleit. Recognizing the need for a Yeshiva program specifically catering to the Mitzuyunim, Reb Ezriel extended the program for younger Bucherim, ensuring that each Talmid had Talmudo B yado upon completion. With small class sizes and a challenging curriculum, the Yeshiva offered individual attention to develop the unique talents of each Talmid. Today, under the leadership of Harav Osher Zelig Greenberg, the Yeshiva continues to uphold its legacy of producing distinguished Bnei Torah.
