History
I began private practice in 1975 while in psychoanalytic training at The National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis and began teaching graduate art therapy in 1980, at the College of New Rochelle and Pratt Institute. My clinical focus has been on the integration of both expressive art and psychoanalytic treatment. I have a great deal of experience in the creative processing of dreams and the therapeutic uses of photography and artwork.
Specialties
I an dually licensed in both Creative Art Therapy and Psychoanalysis and have been in practice and teaching on the graduate level for over 35 years. My practice provides: Psychoanalysis, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Expressive Analysis (using expressive modalities such as drawing and photography as a way to communicate unconscious material) creative dream analysis, clinical supervision. Located on West 43rd street in Manhattan, I also offer remote clinical services.
