The West Harrison Library is a part of the Westchester County Public Library System and the West Harrison Library Card is honored at all 38 Westchester library branches.
Collections include more than 104,000 books, cassette tapes, compact discs, books-on-tape, magazines, large print books and toys. There is a full calendar of events for children and adults that can be accessed online.
In 1967 the official merger of the Harrison Public Library with the Silver Lake Free Library resulted in the incorporation of what is known today as the Harrison Library and the West Harrison Library.
