Dr. Tammy Hennika received her B.S. at Michigan State University and hermedical school degree (M.D.) at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. Following herresidency in Pediatrics at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Hennika completed a Fellowship in Child Neurology at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri and a Fellowship in Pediatric Neuro-Oncology at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina. She returned to New York City and joined the Department of Pediatrics at Weill CornellMedicine, as a Pediatric Neuro-Oncology Instructor and recipient of a NSADA (K12) award with a research focus on medulloblastoma.She is board certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology and in Neuro-Oncology.
