The Washing Board is a family owned and operated laundromat and dry cleaning service. They own three locations, two in Pearl River, and the owner can usually be found in this location, right next to the Shop Rite Liquor store on Middletown Road. Besides being a simple laundromat with numerous new washers and dryers that take up to a sixty-pound load, they also offer a wash and fold service. Customers can bring in their laundry and dry cleaning and they will wash it, dry it, iron it, hang it and return it to the customer. They also offer a pick-up and delivery service as well as cleaning for bulky items such as comforters and quilts.
