Vincent Vinciguerra, MD, is Professor of Medicine at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology, Dr. Vinciguerra specializes in treating gastrointestinal cancers and breast cancer. As an attending physician at the R.J. Zuckerberg Cancer Center, Dr. Vinciguerra focuses on providing compassionate, personalized, and evidence-based care. He also has devoted his career to Cancer Control and Prevention programs. He is the principal investigator for the National Cancer Institute (NCI) supported National Community Oncology Research Program which offers clinical trials and innovative therapies for cancer patients. Dr. Vinciguerra has published over 100 journal articles on cancer drug trials and treatments related to his national and international collaborations. Dr. Vinciguerra earned his medical degree and trained in internal medicine at the Georgetown University Medical Center. He completed training in Hematology/Oncology at New York Hospital. Dr. Vinciguerra is an active member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians.
