Upstate Bottle Return is an authorized New York State redemption center. We are able to reimburse your 5 cent bottle and can deposit money. We specialize in saving you boat loads of time at the bottle return machines at the grocery store! All you have to do is bring your redeemable bottles and cans into our recycling center in Henrietta, dump them on the table, and we count them out for you by hand much faster than the machines. There is no limit and it does not matter where you purchased them from, anything with a New York state 5 cent redemption label is accepted. Our service is free to use. We buy your bottles and cans from you and then resell them at a state set handling fee. So technically we are your customer! Just kidding... We are also the home of the 6 cents on the 6th special! On the 6th of every month we pay 6 cents for all bottles and can returned that day. Let's see the grocery store machines do that! With 9 locations across the greater Rochester area we are Rochester's biggest and friendliest locally owned redemption center; and we hope you come in and give us a shot.
