Operational since 1946, United Cerebral Palsy Of New York City is a nonprofit agency providing direct services, technology and advocacy to children and adults of all ages with cerebral palsy and related disabilities. Based in Brooklyn, N.Y., the agency offers a range of women's health services, such as gynecology, mammograms, sexuality services, menopausal health care, routine medical care, nutrition services and mental health services. It has served as the New York City Regional Technology Related Assistance for Individuals with Disabilities (TRAID) Center. With more than 75 programs, it assists 14,000 individuals and families each year. The services offered comprises preschool, school-age and after-school programs, day programs, summer day camp, family support services, to name a few.
