Specialties
With a selection of 1,000+ fabrics, 25 collar and cuff options, 20 monogram styles and various collar linings, all you need is a little imagination to build your bespoke shirt. Whether you prefer versatile classics or statement show-pieces, no design request is too large or small; we want to ensure the end result is catered to your precise needs. We take 18 body measurements, taking into account posture and any other special requirements you may have. The flawless fit and attention to detail of our bespoke shirts makes each creation a timeless one-off and their custom-made nature allows you to become the designer, adding or changing whichever elements you wish. Here, we note down all your design requests. The measurements are used to create a paper pattern of your shirt. This drawing is then sent to our workshop where it is skillfully replicated into a digital format for maximum precision. Next, our experienced seamstresses masterfully cut your chosen cloth by hand. They use pencil marks to indicate any specific requests such as a minutely shorter sleeve. Hand-worked sewing machines are then used to bring the shirt together - they produce stronger seams while maintaining accuracy. Absolute precision requires trialling. Once a sample shirt has been created, we ask you to wear and launder it as normal, three times - this process allows for inevitable shrinkage of the fabric. It is then adjusted to create a fit that is absolutely perfect.
