History
In 1836 a small group of Christians formed a non-denominational Union Church in the Village of Clay Corners (now Euclid)In 1839 ground was broken for the Morgan Methodist Church on Morgan and Wetzel Road. 1854 the Methodist Society acquired the Union Church, renamed it Euclid United Methodist. In 1886 the Euclid Church structure was built. Between 1836 and 1960, 58 pastors served this parish. In 1960 Mr and Mrs Howard Mosher gave 7.5 acres of land in memory of Theodore R. Hudson for the purpose of a new parsonage and church. In 1961 Euclid and Morgan churches consecrated their new parsonage and in 1962 the two churches merged to create Trinity United Methodist Church.
