Taking up several acres between Westbury Ave. and Liberty Ave., the Wilson Park recreation complex houses a variety of outdoor activities including soccer fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, two playgrounds, a shower and spray pool, swings, a roller-hockey rink, shuffleboard court, as well as baseball and softball fields. All the fields have the added benefit of being lit at night to permit play after dusk. The complex is also home to the Mineola pool. A snack bar is located near the hockey rink and a large picnic area with tables and long benches are available.
The park is open to the public but sporting equipment supplies as well as board games are available only to leisure-pass holders at the roller rink office. Use of the fields requires a permit. Three parking lots are available to use, one on Westbury Ave., one on Liberty Ave., and one off Union St. near the Colonial Ave. intersection.
