Not much has changed in the 30 years The Seafood Shop has been in business. Fresh, local catch is brought in the back door, filleted, steaked or left whole and then displayed in the front of the house for purchase. Robert Wilford and John Haessler, began their careers as school teachers and left that behind to tend to their successful at one time summer-only fish joint.
Now open year round, Colin Mather has joined Robert to bring you the best and freshest seafood. Prepared fresh foods, soups, raw and cooked shellfish are local favorites on the menu. The Seafood Shop also has a lucrative catering division, equally delicious for a clambake or a black tie-affair.
