The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families, also known as CHCF, offers a range of youth development and child care programs and services. Founded in 1982, it serves several children and families in the Latino Community in New York. The committee maintains an early care and education institute. The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families administers a family health education program that covers topics related to maternal health, HIV and other concerns. The committee also operates a policy center, as well as conducts drop-out prevention programs. It provides individual and group counseling solutions. The Committee for Hispanic Children and Families offers after-school programs in science, physical education and visual arts.
