History
In the early 1990's, founders Sally Berg and Barbara Kronman recognized a lack of support for small, developing nonprofits. They also recognized that given the chance, donors would want to make a difference at a grassroots level. It was with this in mind that they conceived an innovative way of introducing a limited number of nonprofits providing essential services to youth to the general public and thereby increasing outside involvement and aid. Since 1994, The Catalog for Giving has brought attention and support to select community-based organizations working to transform children's lives.
