Founded in 1958, Temple Sinai of Massapequa is a member of the Union for Reform Judaism. It is the only Reform synagogue in Massapequa and other neighboring towns. It strives to offer an open and friendly place of worship for people to meet and to enroll their children in religious school.
Shabbat worship is held at 8pm every Friday night, except for on the first Friday of the month at 7:30pm. If there is a b'nai mitzvah at 10:15am, Shabbat morning worship is held. Religious school gathers every Sunday from 9am - 12:30pm. Temple Sinai holds its Shabbat Under the Stars, which is held on the water, every June.
