History
Having seen his grandfather collect and boil sap into syrup when he was a young boy, Matt Wilday's love for pure maple syrup began. Co-Founders/Presidents Matt Wilday and Mike McGuire, worked together at a previous employer and a forever interesting friendship began. Dreams of taking over the world thru Maple Syrup in beer bottles had begun. In 2011 we had 10 taps in 6 trees, and boy was it an ugly operation, ha! Since then their love for syrup has grown and so has their operation. Tap House Syrup is official sold in stores in New York and Massachusetts; and bottles have been opened in almost all 50 states, as well as countries like France, Germany, England, Brazil and Japan. For the 2013 Season best friends James Susser and Matt Kidd have become Vice Presidents and part business owners. Also important to note is that Elisabeth McGuire has played a key role since the businesses beginning and currently keeps the books.
