The Berkshire Bank is a subsidiary of Berkshire Bancorp, a publicly traded bank holding company that trades on the NASDAQ national market system under the symbol BERK. Founded in 1989, Berkshire Bank is a Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation-insured bank. Headquartered in New York City, the bank operates through more than 10 full-service branches.
