Suffolk County Community College is one of the largest community colleges in the State University of New York system, enrolling more than 20,000 students at its three campuses in Selden, Brentwood and Riverhead, N.Y. The college offers associate degree in arts, science and applied science, as well as a variety of certificate programs. It provides more than 60 programs of study in the areas of business; communications and the arts; computing; health, community and human services; liberal arts; and technical, scientific and engineering studies. The college offers comprehensive advisement and counseling services for the distance education students. It has athletic teams for various sports, including baseball, swimming, softball, basketball, bowling, cross country, golf, lacrosse, soccer and tennis. Suffolk County Community College uses SUNY CourseSpace as its course management systems.
