Stew Leonard's Vineyards of Farmingdale opened in October of 2002, and is independently owned and operated. Managers Doug Zucker and Jerry Martellaro have both obtained advanced degrees from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust (WSET). They personally visit wineries from around the globe, including California, Spain, France, Chile and Italy, to learn more about the wines and to find the best values. Free wine tasting is also offered on the weekends.
