The St. Rocco Society of Potenza, founded in 1889 by immigrants from the Italian city of Potenza, is one of the oldest Italian American societies in New York State. Every year, without interruption, the Society celebrates the Feast of St. Rocco with a procession, keeping the Italian traditions and celebration alive in New York City.
Devotees and newcomers alike are welcome to join the Society at this year's Feast on August 18, 2024, where they can learn about St. Rocco's life and miracles, explore the enhanced website, and view photos of past processions.
