Serving Irvington for more than 150 years, St. Barnabas Episcopal Church continues to flourish, and now has about 500 local congregants. Services are at 8am and 10am on Sundays (9am during the summer), and families with young children traditionally attend the later service. There is both an adult and a youth choir, and religious school for kids aged 3-12. Rev. Nora Smith has created a community that fosters generosity and participation, supporting such charitable organizations as Carpenter's Kids, Yonkers Food Pantry and Midnight Run.
