This is the oldest golf club in America, opened in 1888 is, and a founding member of the USGA. This venerated historical venue is only a 20 minute drive from New York City. Here, members and their guests can enjoy the game on a challenging par-71 golf course, re-designed by Jack Nicklaus in 1983. The Clubhouse, with a Pro-Shop and restaurant, has been recently restored. As a traditional club, members are proud to wear the Red Jacket and offer a spirited toast to the memory of John Reid, the founder of American golf, in the room that bears his name.
