History
Shanghai Asian Cuisine is a family-run business, opened in 2008 and manned by Mr. Sammy Kwok, a chef from Hong Kong traditionally trained in Shanghainese cuisine. The old, homey interior of the restaurant contrasts with the new-traditional fusion dishes. Since then, the small business has become a Chinatown favorite to both locals and tourists, and has expanded to 3 other locations in New York City.
