Rochester Consistory
The Valley of Rochester, located in Fairport, NY, is the home of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. Since 1867, the Valley has been dedicated to serving the Freemasons of the Rochester area, conferring degrees from the 4th to the 32nd Scottish Rite. With four bodies responsible for the conferral, including the Rochester Lodge of Perfection, Rochester Council of Princes of Jerusalem, Rochester Chapter of Knights of Rose Croix, and Rochester Consistory, the Valley offers a comprehensive and enriching experience for its members. With a mission to inspire its members through core values such as reverence for God, devotion to country, integrity, justice, toleration, and service, the Valley of Rochester aims to provide convenient and enjoyable programs and fraternal fellowship. Ritualistic matters play a significant role, as a Brother becomes a member of the Valley when conferred with the 4th degree and can progress to become a 32nd Degree Mason by receiving additional degrees that reflect the core values of the Rite.
