Saratoga Bridges is a nonprofit organization that offers various resources and programs to serve individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Its residential program includes 24-hour supervision, instruction in daily living and decision making skills, medical services, occupational and physical therapies, recreational activities, speech and hearing services and transportation assistance. The organization provides day habilitation programs that develop skills in the areas of communication, social behavior, living patterns, personal care, housekeeping, money management and recreation. Saratoga Bridges also offers creative programs in fine arts, music, woodworking, crafts, acting, drama and gardening. In addition, it offers Saturday R & R (Respite & Recreation), a program for children with special needs between the ages of 6 and 12. The program includes activities, such as arts and crafts, creative movement, physical games and swimming. The organization is located in Clifton Park, N.Y.
