The Russian Orthodox Convent offers worship services twice a day, everyday. Services last about 2 to 2+1/2 hours.
Part of the convent is the Old People's Home, which was founded by Archbishop Andrei of Rockland in 1972 to offer care to the elderly of Slavic background who speak little or no English. The number for the retirement home is 845-356-8250.
This convent spreads out over 50 acres and with a 76-bed facility, each resident gets their own furnished room. A professional staff prepares Slavic meals and offers full housekeeping. Health care, religious services and recreational programs are available to the residents as well.
