History
I opened my private practice in 2010 after successful completion of many years of rigorously supervised psychotherapy training at Contemporary Freudian Society and the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. I am a psychotherapy affiliate of both Contemporary Freudian Society and Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. My graduate degree - a Master of Social Work - is from Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Work. I have held clinical licensure in the state of New York since 2004; prior to that I had been certified as a social worker in 1999.

I am an experienced psychotherapist who practices in a neutral, non- judgmental way. If you are looking to gain a deeper understanding of your internal struggles to feel a greater sense of personal fulfillment, I can help you. I have worked with people with a variety of problems including, difficulty in relationships, identity concerns, emotional dysregulation, trauma, addiction and managing mental illness. I have extensive postgraduate training in adult, child and adolescent psychotherapy. I work with people to receive out of network insurance reimbursement. I am in-network with and accept many insurance plans, listed below: Aetna, Beacon Health Options, Cigna, Fidelis, and Value Options. EAP referrals are welcomed for individuals and couples with insurance plans I accept and am in-network with.
