RIMS was started a couple years ago after I observed a growing number of high schools dropping Driver's Ed Programs and several local driving schools closing in the Hudson Valley. I saw a need for educating new drivers on not just rules of the road but dangers we as drivers bring to the road as well as the importance of driver attitude. My classes are held in mall community rooms for the convenience of my students who are unable to drive as well as the parents or friends that have to pick them up as well.
