Appleby Foundation, Inc. is the 501(C)(3) not-for-profit which operates Rebecca Kelly Ballet, a contemporary chamber ballet company located in SoHo and the Adirondacks, and its outreach programs: OnStage, the training and performance program for rural youth, Kids-CoMotion, RKB's early childhood urban creative movement program, and the Tahawus Cultural Center, with activities in art, dance, STEM, film and music, in Au Sable Forks in upstate NY. MISSION Rebecca Kelly Ballet brings a humanistic perspective to the stage through Kelly's distinctive & topical choreography, featuring expressive dancers versatile in modern and classical ballet technique. Focusing on the creation & performance of original ballets, and the development of programs for youth through moveable outreach and education programs, RKB provokes thought, kindles the imagination, and strengthens communities.

Rebecca Kelly produces distinctive and topical choreography, featuring expressive dancers versatile in modern and classical ballet technique. Annual intimate loft and studio presentations include Nutcracker Highlights in Soho in Dec, and New-Ballets-in-Preview (Midtown) in June. RKB offers weekday afterschool dance classes for busy teens during the school year, in two semesters. RKB also provides private instruction for intermediate-advanced dancers, and Onstage, a summer intensive held annually in July at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in the Adirondack Mountains.
