Franziska Racker Centers is a voluntary nonprofit organization that serves people with special needs. Founded in 1948, it employs a staff of more than 600 people and serves over 2,000 individuals annually. The organization provides early intervention, special education, child care, service coordination and residential services to children who suffer form autism spectrum disorders. Franziska Racker Centers offers social work services, educational programs, and speech, occupational and physical therapies for children in private schools and clinical centers. It also features a residential program that provides housing, nursing and psychological services for individuals with varying disabilities. In addition, the organization offers swimming opportunities to children, as well as features the behavior support and family resource programs.
