P.S. 206 Queens The Magnet School of Mathematics and Applied Learning is a multiethnic elementary school that provides academic services to more than 700 students in prekindergarten through grade five. Established in 1993, it provides a standards-based program in mathematics and applied learning in related to the study of environmental science. P.S. 206 Queens The Magnet School of Mathematics and Applied Learning has collaborations with various community-based organizations, including the Goudreau Museum of Mathematics in Science and Art, the Department of Environmental Protection and the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment. The school organizes various extracurricular activities, such as Earth Day, Daffodil Day, science fairs and author visits.
