Pet Street Station Animal Hospital accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association. Pet Street Station Animal Hospital is an accredited hospital member of the American Animal Hospital Association ( AAHA ). Only about 15% of all small animal veterinary facilities in the U.S. are distinguished as accredited members of the association. In order to acquire and maintain accredited status, Pet Street Station Animal Hospital must be evaluated regularly by the association's trained consultants. The evaluation includes a quality assessment inspection of the hospital's facilities and medical equipment, and thorough review of practice methods and pet health care management. Our accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. AAHA standards are recognized around the world as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine. These standards cover nearly every aspect of our hospital, including surgery, pharmacy, laboratory, exam and treatment facilities, pet health records, cleanliness, emergency services, dental and nursing care, diagnostic imaging, and anesthesiology. The attractive train station style building houses a carefully orchestrated atmosphere to provide the space and equipment the doctors require for application of modern medical and surgical services but in the comfort the pets and their owners deserve. Arranged around a large central treatment and surgical prep room are areas for intensive care, isolation for contagious patients, radiology room, double surgical suite and a modern computerized laboratory. The climate controlled kennels are clean, quiet and easy to disinfect. AAHA accreditation was one of our goals as we embarked on the new business and hospital construction."
