The Pan American Airways Co. Federal Credit Union was founded January 29, 1940. The name was updated to The Pan American Federal Credit union in 1960 to service the employees of Pan American Airlines. 1993 the name People's Alliance Federal Credit Union was adopted after the close of Pan American Airlines.
